The MY leadership academy programme has been established by British Gymnastics to give older children the chance to develop their leadership skills and stay engaged in the sport.
It offers a rewarding opportunity for those aged 11 and over to give back to younger gymnasts while following a structured programme of progression.
They are tasked with completing generic and sport-specific courses, learning alongside a mentor, volunteering to help others, and running special projects to benefit the club and its gymnasts.
